In our contemporary society, you hear terms like "politicaly correct" or "socially acceptable" that convey whether or not we are culturally up to standard; however, our culture gives us little guidance about self identity, family matters and the issue of authority. Everyday, American women deal with an erosion of values and a decay of morals as we experience life on the fast track. This can cause confusion regarding the role of today's women. Statistics show that forty percent of women in the United States feel trapped, discontent and unfulfilled. Such feelings can lead to disillusionment regarding what might be our true purpose in life. Facts like this show us that there is a serious need for Women's ministry.
Heart to Heart Ministry is designed to assist in finding answers to the difficult issues we find in today’s society. At the core of the Heart to Heart Ministry you will find biblical instruction that is relevant for today. Also, there are clusters of other special events, group sessions and retreats that assist in different ways to reach other women with the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Heart to Heart Women's Ministry Values...
1. Relational: Acts 2:44-47
Personal acceptance and growth is an important factor in the lives of today’s women. One way to encourage this is to allow for opportunities to befriend and support one another. Also, a deep spiritual journey with Christ will help to discover our authentic self, which is created in His image.
2. Role Models: Titus 2
Women have a unique and direct mandate from God to help meet the needs of other women. Mentoring efforts of the mature Christian will assist the younger, helping them to achieve their objective and goals. These efforts guide the younger in such a way that God’s principles are maintained in daily decisions.
3. Interpersonal: Romans 12:4-8
An effective Women’s ministry invests in the lives of other women by using the gifts and talents entrusted to each by God. It is an outreach to benefit the areas of spiritual, emotional and physical growth.
4. Application: II Timothy 2:16
There are a variety of ways to understand and implement Scripture into the lives of women, such as Bible studies, support groups, retreats and social events. Our primary goal is to honor God and give opportunity to enhance and encourage personal relationships with Him.
