Does it mean having a body like a Brown's running back? Is it about having the determination of Tour de France winner Lance Armstrong? Does it mean having the business mind of Microsoft’s Bill Gates?

We all have an image in our mind of what being a “real" man is all about. That image comes from our upbringing, our environment and our culture as a whole; however, how does that image square with God’s view of manhood?

At South Point Community Church, “Point Man” exists to answer that very question. We are a group of men committed to discovering, modeling and teaching what the Bible says about manhood. Whether it be learning more about Scripture, serving those who are in need or challenging each other in our roles as husbands, fathers or men of character, we are committed to becoming the type of men that point men into a relationship that honors God.

Our goal is to develop a community of men dedicated to serving God by serving others. We challenge each other to become men after God’s own heart by growing closer in community, taller in leadership, stronger in faithfulness and healthier in service.  Just as it says in Proverbs 27:17, “As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.”
